The Sinister Ridge rides again - and AGAIN as a 650ber.

hmmmm. I just went and tried a test-fit on the ridges we have kicking around here(that'd be 3), and it was a no-go. Seems like you got a good one, eh?!

Mountain Cycle MOHO 1995 (all-NOS project)

    Spooky Metalhead Project.

That looks fantastic all raw and shiny! Interesting on the bb and the drops. Find the serial number, I'll see if I can find it in The Book.

1998 Trek Pro Issue DH (Only 100 ever made)

I have a couple of friends who raced those bikes. They were heavy, ugly pigs, but really damn good race bikes.

    Jürgen Beneke's Barracuda

FYI: Juergen penned that piece up top in ~2006 In the interceding years he's been racing quite a bit here in the Northeastern United States. Needless to say, when he shows up, he's on the podium. It didn't take long for him to get a wee bit more support. When he needs stuff he...

    FTW Industries - Urban Assault!

We aren't all that organised in VT, but I know that there are some other forks on order for some resto-mods. Email him and he can add a fork for you to the list, I'm sure. -m

    FTW Industries - Urban Assault!

Lee- When are you going to order the next one up, all aluminum with electric Alfine 11 and hydro discs all polished up and shiny and kitted out in handmade bars and stems and forks and posts? It'd be a delightfully Modern bicycle for these post-post-post-modern times in which we live.

    FTW Mategua 29er

I spent lots of time fondling those things before they went into the crate. Totally awesome. Care to fill us in on that fork?

    Bar end Revelation :-)

They'll have to pry my Sid Blu ProCut Onza CWA barends from my cold dead hands. Did I build myself a classic "norba-style" hardtail last year just to use my barends? Yes, yes i did.

What were the grips of choice in 1995...?

Yeti grips. Yeti FRO tires too. FTW has a few of the FRO tires kicking around that I want to rob from him.

MODERN: FTW Industries FB10 & Spooky Proto HT

From what I've seen Nick has been kicking ass. There is a bunch of awesome helmet camera footage from this season that I hope Lee can dig up. I wouldn't be surprised if Nick races the same bike again next season. (spam) Frank has 3 frames at the shop right now that need homes....

    Spooky Bandwagon Restoration

It's pretty badass to see how many old Metalheads and Bandwagons are still out there being ridden. As far as sticker placement goes... Who cares! We sent out a good 60% of all our bikes without stickers on 'em. We have original Metalhead and Bandwagon stickers as well as the Made in NY...

Spooky Bikes custom FTW steel! UPDATED! PICS! METAL HEAD!

The entry angle on the Pauls is a little too wide. ~67 degrees instead of the ~58 degrees that a plate-style mtb drop setup needs That means they look pretty funky when stuck on a mtb. The fork is 438 with 38mm offset. I think we will use a Vicous fork, but Carl has been a real bear to get...

Spooky Bikes custom FTW steel! UPDATED! PICS! METAL HEAD!

Besides the fact that the Paragon ones are on my desk right now? The flanged drops will make the rear end stiffer. The chain tensioners built in the Paul drops are nice though.

Spooky Bikes custom FTW steel! UPDATED! PICS! METAL HEAD!

The Pauls are ISO dude. That's what Campy uses. I guess we could go WI or Phil on that front.... One last thing we need to decide- do you want the pretty trick Paul dropouts or the paragon track ends I already specified? This thing is going to be so sick! With the saddle...
