    1992 Raleigh Peak

Looks great. I did see this, but Runcorn was a bit too far for a bike which would have been a tad small for me to add to my Raleigh off-road series collection. Definitely interested in the pedals/tyres if you want to shift them.

    boy"O"boy's 1991 TREK 8700 PRO COMPOSITE

So pleased to see how this has come on, it was seeing this originally that started me itching to get the Trek 7000 completed, and that too raised some serious BB questions. Great to see the crankset on, I didn’t know that you could get 140+! .

    Klein respray

Good advice, thank you. This is a personal project, and a lot of replies I've had seem to be based on the 'what's it worth' question, which isn't what I'm asking. That's not really why I'm into it, I would like to create something which I'll enjoy riding. I've probably (I know I have) spent more...

    Klein respray

Noted, and I've dropped them an enquiry. There's also a company in Germany I've found I could send it too. I would like at least one of my bikes to look slightly less battle scarred than the rest! Although maybe that's a reflection on the rider...

    Klein respray

Morning all, So as a winter project I've got my hands on a slightly scuffed-in-places Klein Pinnacle. Nothing too major wrong with it apart from age, but, considering I am fulfilling a long term desire to own some sort of Klein I would like to get it somewhere towards looking pretty good, and I...

FREE Raleigh Mirage 21" Frame inc Chainset

I love the colour of these 501 frames, but Leeds is just too far otherwise I would have it.

1994 Klein Fervor - Taking it back to day one

Great story, lovely bike. I'm about to start my first Klein love affair as a Pinnacle frame is in the post..

    Raleigh Mirage 1991 restomod

I really did love those 501 frames, and that Mirage colour was in my opinion, the best. I've always been tempted to get one of the 501's, either the Mirage or Montage, possibly the Dune dancer. That looks superb. Great job.

    Jaggs' 1991 Trek 7000

Re: No divorce yet, but since then I've stashed a 2008 Trek and a Raleigh M-Trax from 1993 in the shed....but yes this is the one I was on about. So, fortunately, the front-mech came with the frame including the thingy, so that's why I didn't bother swapping a perfectly good front LX mech for...

    Jaggs' 1991 Trek 7000

So, after some time, much money and moaning, I've got the Trek done. This started as one of those things that got delivered after a rash decision to purchase, but, upon inspection after arrival, the frame turned out to be in pretty good condition: Despite there being a few marks, the paint...

I managed to find the tech manual for the Trek series, not sure if this is useful to you? Superb looking bike.

1991 Trek 7000 bottom bracket size

Re: Thanks for the reply. I was reading your Trek thread, I always wanted one of those. Reading that triggered this thought actually, because it suddenly occurred to me that not all BB's were the same. I have a DX Chainset already, and I have a 68 x 127 BB on the way, so I will just have to...

1991 Trek 7000 bottom bracket size

I hope you can shed light on a bottom bracket question. I have never needed to work out which size BB I needed, as the frames I've obtained have had the BB still. I've got my hands on a 1991 Trek 7000, without one. So, the question is....which do I need? After some googling, on a different...

    boy"O"boy's 1991 TREK 8700 PRO COMPOSITE

I liked this so much, I've gone and bought a 1991 Trek 7000 frame. Which will probably end in divorce.

    2nd Summit

Yeah, really happy it's a working bike, way too small for me, but should be fine for the better half, she'll be riding it. It is the 17" Frame, I could have used a smaller one I think, but it's be fine. It's a trail/park bike, not going to be going full off-roading on it, so it should be fine...
