No problem G, its 1 1/8th. The Shimano STX headset is really good IMHO. It's buttery smooth and very sturdy feeling, due to its proper sealed replaceable races (not cup/cone). You can get the headset for around £15-20. Cheers. Reub

Ah, good point! Yes, size would help. I'm 99% sure it is 18" c/t and 21" c/c but will double check tonight.

Hi, I wonder if anyone has in their parts box a right hand gear lever 'sump bit' for Deore DX 7 speed SLR brake/gear lever combo? The gear lever sump part bolts to the bottom of the brake lever, the previous owner unbolted the gear changer part and lost it...! The lever is a two lever...
