It rides great, although in all honesty since I finished it last October I've only been out on it a handful of times. Never seem to get chance! And would love to see your King Of Mercia built when or if you do it! Can't beat a Mercian... ;-)

No idea! I bought some recessed fitting brakes before the frame arrived and was surprised to find the frame was drilled for nutted brakes. It then took ages to find some decent nutted calipers, I didn't want to use Weinmann's that are everywhere. Maybe the original customer specified them for...

This is my 1985 Street Beat, built around ten years ago. Probably could do with changing the Renthal post for something a bit more period, and maybe a few other parts too thinking about it. There again I built it for less than £400 at the time so can't complain! Hope you like it! :D
