    Original and complete Cool Tool

Re: You again?! are you stalking me? Can I save myself some effort? I'm also planning to post up a Kona micro fleece top (size M) and Cannondale black and grey offroad "anorak" (windprooof top). Do you want dibs on them as well?

Pace RC100 for sale complete bike 19" frame NOW SOLD

Re: I remeasured it, I had the size wrong. Very sorry for the confusion. It's 19" from BB centre to the centre of the seatpost clamp. It's a long, low frame. I'm 6'2"and it never felt small to me. Frame top tube is 58cm centre to centre, about 60cm horizontal.

    Pace bike/frame 20"-21"

Re: Pace bike/frame 20" What sort of cash are we talking for an almost original RC100s? It's entirely period and correct except for the seatpin and one rim. I raced and rode it a lot back in the day, so the paint is a bit tatty and some parts have been replaced from the original spec, but...

    Rare proto Mavic rear mech

If you fit the old Mavic rear mechs with the adjustor from a Shimano mech it will index up to 6 speeds. That's how I ran mine for years. I've got a modded rear mech which did exactly this. It won't index cleanly on a 7speed rear cluster though.

    Pace RC100 rebuild

Where did you find those Paris Dakar rims? I had a set of those in the original version (sold with a set of green matching hubs on a card 126mm OLD). I've still got the back rim somewhere and the hubs are still going strong of course! However, if those are the original spec Paris Dakar rims...

    Pace RC100 advice

I have an old, much loved, but sadly neglected RC100 sitting in my loft. The bike is 99% complete. It's missing a period rear mech, but is other wise pretty good. what stops me riding it is that the Bullseye cranks have cracked at the pinch bolt. This is a common problem I understand. I doubt...
