ADVICE - Project Frameset - Jack of All Trades

Quick research piece before I commit to emptying the storage and loft out. I've been tasked to get the kids bike seat on something before mid-February. Stay with me... Usually I'd just keep putting it on something until it felt right but, after a 3 year enforced hiatus from riding...

What now? Cable Cover Screws Busted

Anybody got any ideas to remove the tiny screws on a M740 shifter (cable cover ones) when the screws heads are knackered? -wasn't me! Oh, and does any know where to get replacements? Cheers edit: just seen Chickens similar question, must be on of those Sunday's.

    Removing lettering on wheels

Re: Goo Gone is pretty good stuff. It's an American citrus based cleaner. I've used it quite a few times to remove print from bars.

    Yet another P2 question post

Re: They turned up today. I have a low profile Ritchey headset which may offer a few mm's but it's not looking good at the moment. Will have to look at trade or getting yet another set!

    Yet another P2 question post

I bought a P2 fork "by accident" the other day and for what ever reason I thought it had a 165mm steerer but looking over the description it looks like when it turns up it's going to be 147mm. I want to try it on a Marin frame I have as part of my current spring "experiment". The Rockstar...

    Go Pro, where to mount

Re: I remember that drone on kickstarter, the issue was it didn't have sensors to stop it crashing into things so it could only be used in open spaces. It's called Airdog.

    Moulton ATB ?

Re: Here's a few from the current Design Museum Cycle Revolution exhibit that's on until June. I can't remember how many I saw, I think there's 5 or so. The accompanying book "Fifty Bicycles That Changed The World" has a write up on the M1 & AM and a bit about Moulton & Raleigh. edit: Just...

Converting 26in to 27in circumference 650b tyre size.

Just a note on those Super Moto's if you can get hold of the pre-2013 tire they are much better! The tred blocks were thinner and the pattern far better than the current incarnation. See the pic. I rang Schwalbe UK a few years ago to get some of the older units but they wanted £50 a tire and...

    Go Pro, where to mount

@enc just for info, I got the camera years ago after reading about it on an RC plane forum: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1556994 One of the guys did development work with the manufacturer for the rc market and they produced a pretty good, inexpensive unit. There's been other...

Converting 26in to 27in circumference 650b tyre size.

Re: Not a 2.5 but I ride a folding 2.3 Schwalbe Super Moto on the road/gravel. Not used a full off-road tire but for what my experience is worth; the Super Moto's and a rigid fork is great for gravel at lower psi. The increased volume cuts some of the force out of the rougher stuff and I feel...
