My Raleigh is still for sale, note I have amended the size as it is a 52, not 54,5 as previously stated.

I am thinking of selling my Raleigh 625, it has titanium tubes and was produced around 1993 and was sized at 52. The measure from centre of seat post to front of stem is 528mm. I can send you a pdf of the original catalogue if interested. I have used the bike sparingly in the last three years...

Thanks Paul, is Dossa's thread on this forum? I double checked the post again today the '93 model must have been different.

Paul, My Dyna-tech is 1993 and I've measured the bottom of the seat post and would say it equates to an inch, i.e. 25.4mm, certainly not over 26mm. I hope this helps. It is the original seat post but I've had it stove enamelled so any markings have disappeared!

If no one responds sooner I'll have a look at the weekend and see what size mine is.

Have had the seat post stove emamelled gloss black and found a SR Custom and had that redone in black too, should look good when fitted. I'm going to change the tape for white as well. I have also bought, for less than £3 some ITM Italia Pro handlebars, similar were fitted to the higher spec...

Thanks for your info. I noticed that mine has no Raleigh badge on the front stem just a little rectangular sticker that says 'Dynatech' I am assuming the original badge has been lost.

I agree about the saddle, the seat post is the original Dyna-Tech, it is marked as such. I found a brochure on line, the original gearing and brakes were all Suntour. I assume the Chorus kit is still out there on ebay and the like?

Took the bike out for a 10 mile spin today, an interesting trip. It rides well and is certainly smooth however it does not have the urge to get on that my Rossin has. I think it is going to make a great long distance runner. The gearing works well although it is a bit of a mixture, rear...
