    Thanks for the info!! The reply I got from the guys at GT ( on the GT website) is that it's an Asian production frame from October 2001, that later went on the market in 2002. And that's what I know so far...but I agree that Pantera and Backwoods and even the Tempest was in the equation...so...

    Yes.... I've reached to GT and got a great answer!! They say it's a Asian production frame from October 2001.That later went on the market in 2002. What puzzled me was the 7005 on a 2000's bike.... I thought it would be earlier from the late 90's....but it's sorted now ;) 👍 cheers And Thanks...

    Hey Sam! Thanks for the will to help first of all! I believe there are more digits, at least one or two. The frame is still not in my hands, only by next Friday probably( the photo and the rest I have were sent by the seller). As soon as I get hands on new photos( better photo!) for sure. But...

    Hi.... I'm having a bit of the same problem. I've got a frame with similar serial numbers. Previous owner says it was ( to his believe!) an Avalanche but not sure on the year... the serial is similar but it has several other numbers on it. So I'm confused about model and year... here's a photo...

    Hi.... So in your opinion it might pre 97?! 96/95?!?? I've searched several forums and on line but never saw such numbers. I have a Zaskar also but totally different...and from all that I looked up on several sites and photos none similar in way to this. And that's my reason for this post...
