    Merlin 9443

Have tried full editor -it lets me insert a weblink, using the img button, but then it displays my personal email details. Have tried uploading as an attachment, but the maximum permitted size is 512kb. I tried uploading an attachment of less than 512kb and it said the size was wrong. So I'm...

    Merlin 9443

Re: More pics:- Not much change recently. The XTR RD fell apart. I'm annoyed with the M959 wheels only allowing very specific cassettes to be fitted, which are old and expensive. I'm thinking new wheels, modern RD, shifters and cassette.

    Bikes you wish existed

Re: Whoops -hit the submit button on my phone accidentally before I finished. Anyway, SRAM CX1 1x11 speed drivetrain with 11speed trigger shifters. Maybe Hope hubs and disc brakes laced to tubeless rims of some sort. Trying to incorporate some old skool values into a retro mod with the benefit...

    Merlin 9443

This is my Merlin, frame number 9443. It's been my restoration project for the last six months, finally took it out for a shakedown this afternoon. I think it's 1993. Oddly, it doesn't have canti bosses, and uses a Merlin designed disc brake adaptor. There are no hose guides either, so I've...

    Pace RC38 oil leak

Hi all, great forum, continues to keep me entertained as I often read but seldom post. I have a Pace RC38 LT fork which I bought in good condition; it even has a Pace service sticker. Nonetheless I still couldn't resist the urge to tinker... I've successfully removed the lowers, and the...

    Royce Bottom Bracket Bolts

I have a new pair of Royce titanium crank bolts. Their combined mass is 22g according to the kitchen scales. The scales aren't particularly accurate but if yours measure similar then probably Ti?
