    Mid 80's Ladies Falcon

    Now my wife's, used to be my mom's from new. The bars used to be the other way round in the dropped position with tape not grips (hense levers other way round). The rest is all original, including the tyres. Still in regular use and soon to be sporting a rear mounted child seat. :D

    My 1982 Dawes Renown

    I can vouch for the strength of the Weinmanns. Still straight, and never been trued. I used to jump up and down curbs all the time. They measure 19mm wide, about 14mm edge deep. All they say on them is "Weinmann Patent Made in Belgium" Not attemped to polish them yet, but look like they will...

    My 1982 Dawes Renown

    Thanks for the positive comments guys. I was 15 when i got it and it did take about a year to grow into. Big frames were all the rage then, not like now where everyone seems to be squeezed onto a childs bike with a 2ft seat stem. :wink:
