    1990 Cannondale SM2000

Finally sourced a pepperoni fork, in blue even. It's not quite the right shade but to me it just adds some character. Now the only original piece missing is the "285" stem which seems to be nearing hen's teeth status. I think this will be the bikes final configuration for a while.

    Is This a Pepperoni?

Bought a fork that looks an awful lot like a 1" threaded pepp, but has no markings as such. Case for it: the welds are smooth, paint is sparkly, and the legs are aluminum Case against it: No stickers stamps or marking, steerer is steel and painted Any ideas?

    1990 Cannondale SM2000

Awesome to see all the others on here. Also sparkiegaz, why are the front brakes on your bike backwards? The pepperoni fork and 285 stem have proven hard to track down, but I should have a fork soon. Also my left shifter literally blew apart so I'll be going 1x7 for now.

    Flite/Turbomatic to relpace Turbo

That's quite true, however some saddles do seem to receive near universal praise or hate. For instance the Charge Spoon, which I enjoy immensely, has very few detractors. I really should ask a better question though. Would the flite or turbo matic 2 be bearable on rocky routes with an...

June 2012 BoTM 'Dead End Special' - Nominations Please

To me am evolutionary dead end would have to be something that not only didn't make it to the present generation of bikes but also either: Hasn't been accepted by most frame or parts manufacturers despite being around for a while or, Was used widely at the time but only for a brief period...

    Flite/Turbomatic to relpace Turbo

I've been looking at 1990's vintage Selle Italia turbos ever since someone decided to relieve me of mine and the prices seem a little bit, off. Either someone wants $40 for a torn up shell or $110+ for a NOS one. On top of that my turbo was never something I found to be exceedingly pretty or...

    1990 Cannondale SM2000

It's a lot of stuff to find but most of it is common. Also this year came specced with push style shifters, though depending on how bad they are I may very well end up with thumbies. Question though, I see that selle italia has released the turbo again. Is there much difference between the...

    1990 Cannondale SM2000

Here's my daily ride for school. A little tired compared to the rest of the bikes here but I'm aiming to get it into proper shape. Drivetrain is stock XT save for the shifters, most everything else needs to be replaced. Guy who raced it didn't keep anything he replaced or upgraded and someone...

    Pepperoni Fork 1" Threaded

Hello all, Recently picked up an SM2000 with a Mag 21 on the front and I'm not sure how much longer it'll hold air. So I'm looking to procure an aluminum cannondale fork w/ a 1" threaded steerer if anyone has one about. Thanks
