    looked into dipping mine but nobody local recommend it..worried about having no frame left, i would hazard a guess that not all the anodising has gone? its not easy to tell, try sanding a small area...seriously getting a shine was easy.

    Used 2 4" mops first one is a sisal mop with grey polish then soft stitched mop with green polish,,,polishingshop found in Google. not sure what stage you are at but that anodising has to come off first...it takes some shifting.

    to be honest the shine was easier than getting that anodising lacquer off, as soon as thats gone your back to ally and the shine came easily with the aid of a drill and mop/polish....glad to see the back of this rebuild so no more polishing for me for a while!!

    What a job!!!!! getting the anodising off was a complete nightmare...ever tried peeling a potato with your finger nails..... The frame just looked tired quiet a few marks so tried to carefully polish them out and one thing led to another......i was committed to a complete frame polish...

    Been in touch with Pace repair service, what an unhelpful bunch, they wouldnt tell me offered to have them back for n expensive rebond!!!! :evil: I think we are capable of cleaning applying ?? and aligning things up correctly.

    Yep what's left of it is a Zero Titanium measures 73-125 I could get new bearings but the cups are u/s so the chances of finding some of those is slight. As for a replacement not sure whether to go for a un54 which is 73-122 or a un72 which is 73-127. ..not sure on the clearances and which...
