Bit of a thread revival, I still have the old Lava Dome, just looking to get a wider bar on it and move it to single speed, any suggestions on the best way to do that keeping the project 2 forks

I will carry on a little I think. Going to go for a disc and suspension on the front. Rim brakes on the rear. I have too many good memories on that frame, its an old friend

Thanks for the help...I'll get some pics up. Theres no way the forks I bought will fit the bottom of the steerer is 1.5" I may buy another frame that fits the tapered forks for the misses Im in the Aberdeen area.

Newe forks had Steerer: Aluminium, 1.5 - 1 1/8" 250mm long. The lava dome needs 1 1/8, the headset was threaded but im hoping I just buy a non threaded headset and some 80mm forks and new handle bar clamp thing.... I will know what Im doing by the end of this...its half the fun. Im also...
