Quick update as it I'm sticking around. lol Forks have been swaped out for Rock Shox Tora TK with remote lockout and the MAG 21's have been cleaned up and are now hanging above my PC. lol Brakes are now Deore XT V-brakes with Deore LX levers Headset has been swapped for a Cane Creek...

These are M739 and your description sounds exactly right. Will be going to discs on my new build but that's a while off so would rather these were right for the interim
