    1989-1990 Sunn Mountain

Amazing and with very nice components like that Mavic RD, in that era I bought my first MTB, a 10 speed one all steel even the rims. I was a bit young. 😅

    Would you ride 150mm cranks?

Not with my money. I´m a XC rider, so not for me. I don´t do enduro o that shor of things, but I don´t like too long cranks, my size is 170 in the 90s and it is still that. Feels good to me.

Is it acceptable to mix cable outer colours?

That neon cables will fit my Scott pro black and neon yellow perfect. Some cables blac other neon, no problem if it match the bicycle. https://www.foromtb.com/threads/volvemos-al-eje-de-cuadradillo-scott-pro-racing-1992.1570953/

RM ELEMENT 70 my dream bike built.

It is like live in the mid 00s again, it feels so good. It looks nice but rides as it looks. My only concern are the spares and the posibility damage the frame. This month my 1st gen cobalt wheels have 2 cracks, they are 15 years old and they are done. It is sad because we have live very good...

RM ELEMENT 70 my dream bike built.

Big wheels are not enough to beat us. Very fun this race. The narrow trails are the best for this 26" :) After the race ... He need some care to be ready for any battle. It is made for racing or epic rides 🥰

98+ BoTM 98+ Bike of The Month September 2024 - Time to vote

I forgot the BoM post, I love that lightning GT at least it is not ruined with one chain ring, the Scapin is a nice one too. In my country that trend is over for this period bicycles. I have tried but it is awfull if you don´t have big range in the casette. My point of view is always from the...

    1x10 cassette options

The top of 10 speeds for me, I love it so much that I have the same set up in 3 of my bicycles ... really in all non pre 97 except a Yeti SB and I have one brand new in his box as spare 🥰 All combined with the XT casette that is dirt cheap, and XT shifters.

My journey in retro MTBs since moving to Spain 2 months a go (3 bikes!)

I live in North Spain, the green Spain, so we have lot of nice areas. Lot of single tracks like this, that is why I still love a good 26" bicycle, not bicycles with big tire and wide handlebar, here are a night mare. My biggest bicycle is 27.5, a Yo Eddie and a SB5T and they have to deal with...

If you HAD to choose new V brakes for a Retrobike?

I have bough recently some V brakes for my pro racing, cheaper than the M900, the last SD7. I wold prefer my old ones but this are black and match better than the orange or grey ones.
