    Chain slipping

I had a nice Dura Ace 9 speed mech owned from new that always caused chain slippage after about 3 years of use, whether on a road bike or mountain bike. After much huffing and puffing and putting new chains/cassettes nothing worked. I looked closely at the mech and found the spiral spring that...

    Chain slipping

I have found that chain slippage can be caused by the spring on the derailleur losing its tension. I mean the spiral one that is fitted into the place where the attachment bolt goes! Cheers

I've done Bewl Water a few times which is good but quite sedate and now want to get a bit more...

Looking for some traditional spec drop handlebars

Hi Mike, Those sound like the sort of thing if they fit a standard 25.4mm stem - what sort of condition and price are they? Cheers, Adam

Looking for some traditional spec drop handlebars

I'm renovating a nice old Raleigh Sirroco, unfortunately the existing handlebars have had it. Having looked online for a replacement most handlebars now appear to be black painted and too thick for the stem (which takes 25.4mm diamater bars). I found a couple of ok options at SJS cycles but they...
