Re: Cheers Nick :D I took your advice and got a pair on Smokes, hopefully get the wheels back this weekend, going to take the frame apart today and drop the forks in tomorrow, it needs doing as it's through to the metal, no doubt it will get its own battle scars when I get to ride it !

Picked up a seven speed gripshift this morning, fitted the levers and shifters to the bars to see how they will look and if they will work. Similar set up to my modern bike so should work well, just got to sort out the outers.

Does any one know what bottom bracket length I need for an M900 chain set in an S works frame shell size 73mm ?

Could you not paint the legs in situ ?
