So gave it a good old clean up today and also fixed the chain/ started settings gears up.
Gave everything a good old slathering of 4 In 1 and it's all feeling rather decent.
Front mech cable is a bit worse for wear but 3.99 for a Clarks replacement from Amazon and all will be right.
Thats kind of the vibe I got too.
I wasn't able to find out what was on it before I picked it up as was a lady selling it and it was her bro in laws from years ago and sat in a shed.
I'll give everything a good clean up and service best I can and then work from there.
Not a huge amount of info...

This made me...
OMG how did you misplace 24k's?
They're one of my most treasured items, imho they have the nicest fit of any glasses with a great weight, although for exercise i do prefer poly framed models.
You've got me pining for the entire collection now OP.
haha thanks Superstu man.
I wasn't looking for anything in particular but entrusted T1nt1n to find me a good runner.
Further reading shows this AA is something of a respected Kona frame, and from what I've heard the geometry is great for tall people, and at 6' 3" that's gonna make a great...
just to say that this request is now closed.
Rojo has accepted my offer.
What a great forum, 1 post and I have a Retro Bike!
10 years ago this thing would have been the object of my dreams! Feels good to finally settle that score.
Got myself some Judys, lol.
