appreciate someone even responding. This week, after posting that Aquila find, I picked up an '89 and a '98 Rockhopper, so I'll be focusing on those this winter. The '89 is ... NOT LOOKING GOOD.

bringing a thread back from the dead, I see '91 tequesta is suppose to have SR/Suntour/Sugino groups instead of Shimano, but all of my drivetrain has been swapped to Shimano (both RD, both shifters, and crank). That means the bike was modified, correct? TIA.

I have those avid10s in the back the other Stump (M2) too! Why do I feel like the way it fits your A1 is so much more "narrow" (brake arms completely inside the seat sway) vs. my M2 though? I'm having trouble getting the XTR v-brakes/pads onto my A1.
