Nice, another Campy adorned Klein :D Smooth shiny Campy bits really suit Kleins I think... I wouldn't say that mate - I can't imagine a much better setup for a proper marathon ride - it looks awesome! ..and given the turn this thread has taken I feel I should give an 'anti-elitist' angle...

Hehe - I wondered how long it was going to be before Shamus entered something and shut down all us other Klein owners. What a bike - perfect. And nice to see some ti at last too - can't imagine a better ti fat build. I'm starting to drool on my keyboard...

...and the Campy looks REAL nice on the Klein above.

Haha, classic :lol: - I'm definitely going to refer to it as 'bald' from now on! We need some more Yeti's though - they're starting to get outnumbered... And if anyone enters a Klein with a properly crazy paintjob, that would make my day :)

True say... I reckon FAT/Yeti/Klein are near enough my three fave brands BUT the key word is 'brand' and it's their brand image that makes them so particularly appealing. With Klein it's the paint jobs and amazing welds, Yeti have the ubercool race image with Tomac, Giove, Furtado etc and Fat...

...and this thread is getting bad for my health! Even as a proud Klein owner I'm getting some serious Yeti/FAT envy!! Some awesome bikes on show :shock:

Thank God! I would have been gutted if I was forced to watch this month's contest from the sidelines - it's already my favourite BOTM ever! Admittedly, it still feels a bit odd entering the same bike two months in a row though, so to avoid blatantly repeating myself I've stuck a different...

Yes they're MTB wheels - Mavic CrossRocs which I think are their first gen tubeless rims circa '97. REALLY light - fine for the smooth Surrey Hills where I grew up but when I moved to the rocky valleys of Yorkshire I broke the rear wheel fairly quickly(!) A result of wearing through the side...
