    Today's Ride

One of those days where you hum and haw over the potential rainfall, eventually say sod it and go out. Rained approx 30 seconds after the picture 😆

    Today's Ride

Coincidentally I caught a castle (or the ruins of) in the background of a picture today, think it's called Tynemouth Priory. Very lucky my birthday aligned with a free day, and that day happened to be very mild albeit a little misty which lead to a lovely 100k ride of mostly northern coastline.

    Today's Ride

Same view as yesterday's post but significantly colder and grayer. Quick spin to test going from a 60mm 6deg stem to 100mm 8deg. May not have been obvious from earlier posts due to the saddle bag but I was definitely clamped down way beyond the stop marks on the saddle rails and figured it...

    Today's Ride

Glad to be back out after the other days hub malfunction, lovely hazy skies this evening.

    Today's Ride

Quick spin, photo shortly before realizing the sound of metal rubbing I'd heard at the start of the ride wasn't the rotor pinging the caliper but infact the sound of what I can only assume was rear hub bearings being in places they shouldn't

    Today's Ride

Yesterday, little bit of a breeze at 16kmh but also bordering on 17c. Never thought it'd be shorts weather at this time of year in England.

    Bikes and Bridges

beautiful bike and an equally as beautiful day, oddly nice for this far into October! Sunderlands Wearmouth Bridge and the Railway Bridge, from below this time. A third bridge is currently under construction which will make for some cool photographic opportunity, albeit not as great as...

    Today's Ride

Third try is the charm - a very headwind filled 103.3km with 931m elev and most importantly, no punctures :)

Early finish, rushed out and rained off after 20 minutes :( Better Blast picture for @al-onestare

    Today's Ride

Roughly an 07/08/09 Blast Deluxe, I'm pretty sure Kona just used the same frame geometries for their "back country" bike lineup during that era and I wouldn't be surprised if this was very close to the same geometry as a Unit from that time. Was a slightly inebriated fb marketplace buy, ended up...

    Today's Ride

Surely nothing could go wrong on a second 100k attempt right? No pump or spare tube couldn't possibly come back to haunt me, and I definitely would've done my due diligence regarding sharp stragglers on yesterday's roadside repair right? 70k or so in and at probably the furthest point from...

    Today's Ride

Half way into 100k yesterday was a brilliant time to get the first flat since getting back into cycling AND discover my pump wasn't working 😅

    Today's Ride

Wasn't feeling 100% but a slight bit of evening sunshine after 3 days of torrential downpours was enough to tempt me :)

    Today's Ride

Spent the weekend doing a deep clean and switching from dry to wet lube for the season ahead, weather ended up being pretty good today which was nice to test going from 38 to 42t up front which lead to a few new pbs :) Sadly the weather outlooks pretty bleak for the next week or two so probably...

    Today's Ride

Late posting yesterday's ride since eating bacon sarnies and watching only fools and horses took precedence over uploading to imgur when I got home 😅 Quick early morning lap, sun made an appearance along with some pretty terrible headwinds. Had been getting some on/off wrist pain the last...

solved: Help forwarding mtb magazine to Germany

I haven't used it myself but have had a few buyers using parcel forwarding services when selling on eBay such as Forward2me, never had any issues or bad feedback from those who've used it. Might be worth keeping in mind for next time so you don't miss out :)

    Today's Ride

few laps of a local park, foliage thinning out lead to spotting a massive blur of colour which turned out to be a legal graff wall, pretty cool.

    Bikes and Bridges

I'm pretty sure some of your previous contributions to this thread will trump anything I'll ever post in future, but to me threads like this whether it be bridges, bunkers or any other subject matter are less about the subject and more about the fact you've got out there, had a ride and...
