I’m looking for a lightweight (maybe ti) square taper bottom bracket. It needs to measure 27mm from the drive side cup to the end of the axle. Must be in good condition.

Re: Just to update this. The seller posted the bike without any packaging with the wheel out and both sets of handlebars loose. It picked up 7 dents in transit so has been returned for a refunded. How can a seller be so careless?

Re: I have a frame you can have for free. The frame is in fine condition but the forks got cracked in a tumble as they hit a curb. It's a 56.

Who would people recomend for respraying a bike? I want a good job rather than cheap. It's for this '87 SBDU to be painted in the Panasonic scheme. Needs the fork bridge filled where a previous custodian took a drill to it...

Re: What would have been the groupset on this originally? Frame is 86 so I'd guess it would be used 86/87/88ish? C-record came around in 85 but many didn't use it. Did team raleigh use campy in the late 80's or should I be looking at suntour and Shimano? I've tried to find photos from the era...
