Re: Yeah I had a purpley one as a teenager. I think it was more "sponged" cloud type effect than splatter. Don't think it was LX though. Never seen one like it, on here, gumtree or anywhere

Just picked this up for £40 as a winter bike and couldn't resist taking it up where it belongs. Far nicer, more agile and precise, less sketchy, than it has any right to be. Found myself unintentionally bombing along a proper MTB trail and it was a blast. I've had supposedly much nicer 80s...

Re: Just to be clear (in case it's relevant to Dadstat), the only remaining part I'm sure is original is the seat post. The stem is marin, the brakes are dia compe (possibly original?). And the DX parts too I guess but they're easy to pick up.
