This bike has been a recent acquisition for me and is a bit of a departure from my usual Carlton and Sun made cycles. In truth I've wanted a JT for a long while, especially after seeing Jamie's Super Clubman thread a while ago. The machine it self has been well used, but not abused. Paint is OK...

I have the same shade on a 1951 Sun Super Vitesse. A good choice.

Brake cables have to be ribbed! Nice choice. This stuff is getting expensive and harder to find in period colours.

Worth also taking a look at the Sun Cycles - the Birmingham Years Facebook group. I run this small, but growing group with an interest in the marque before it was swallowed up by TI/Raleigh and moved to Worksop under Carlton 'control'.

Aston Brook, Birmingham build, early to mid 50s by the look. All seems to be pretty original too and will make a lovely restoration project.

I used a Carlton Corsa at this year's Britannia event in June. Used a 48/38/28 triple up front with a 34 on the back. Changers were both more modern Shimano items, operated by downtube shifters...

Great work, in my view that frame is too good for repainting. Preservation is the key word here. Love the work so far.
