Some are more, a few are less. It's not my business :)

Hetchins Experto Crede - early 50's

Yeah - kinda. An auction house is unlikely to dip much below lower estimate on first outing unless there is clear instruction to sell regardless.

The price guide is 350-450 and it currently has a bid of 340. I'm not at liberty to discuss reserves. Buyers premium is 26.4% INC VAT

Yeah maybe - its an auction and will find its level. If anyone is interested be sure to be aware of the buyers fees, can't help with that I'm afraid.

Hetchins Experto Crede - early 50's

Interesting thank you - I have had a message saying it’s a poor restoration - which I thought was a bit severe

Hetchins Experto Crede - early 50's

The paint is in incredible condition - the chrome section of the forks are pitted a bit, so too the rear stays but less so. A few minor scratches/rub marks to the top tube but I'm being picky

Another Merlin Oreas build - Rohloff content

So the Monkeybone and parts arrived today so a quick mock-up to see if it all works - which it does, and so much neater. One with old torque arms, other with bone - yes, orientation not right yet just

Another Merlin Oreas build - Rohloff content

The start of a new build, starting with a mint Merlin Oreas in my size 17.5 and Rohloff/King wheel set. The Merlin came to me complete although dated, and the Rohloff was set up with a long torque arm, very ugly. So first stage if to order all the bits to convert to Monkey bone, refresh the...
