    80s Mino Denti Master

Yes you see quite a bit of their clothing for clubs and events on Ebay, more than plain Denti branded kit. Here is my silly kit (and ugly mug)! I also have this jersey for sale if interested? - too large for me (its somewhere like a generous size L). and to not derail my thread too much...

    My Italian and Belgian bikes

You appear to have kindly assembled my dream bike collection. Let me know your address and I'll be round to collect presently. 😄 Absolutely love the bikes, all very much my taste. I really don't need any more steel bikes but a fancy Somec would be irresistible! Nice colour match on the pedals..

    80s Mino Denti Master

Ah glad you appreciate it! Thanks. It was a really fun project with many challenges, but all things that have built my restoration skill and mechanical knowledge. I absolutely love riding it when the weather suits, the geometry is superb and the components made me a Dura Ace 7400 evangelist. 😄...

    Lightest Steel Frame?

Higher end Dedacciai tubing makes for a light frame. My 58cm Atala build is about 8kg. Fillet brazed ZERO MCDV6 HT. 10spd Record and a light wheelset help quite a bit! I have considered putting a carbon fork on this, but I love the balance of the chrome too much.

    Cycling Art: Important or Not

Cycles Brillant, one of my favourites! Beautiful simplicity with the angles and use of negative space.

Daniel Rebour - Illustrator. Who's your favourite cycling illustrator/Cartoonist?

Retrogrouch had a look at obscure 70s cycling magazines a while ago. https://bikeretrogrouch.blogspot.com/2014/10/two-wheel-trip.html?m=1 I really liked the totally groovy covers to 'Two Wheel Trip.' Even bought a print of the first issue cover!

Yikes - the slackest seat tube in the world? ….

The Gate and the others are all fascinating bikes I would love to own.. but I would be hard pressed to describe any as beautiful 😝 A curved seat tube is a much more elegant solution. I really love Denti's Mirage frames like this one; https://www.pedalroom.com/bike/denti-mirages-33354

Daniel Rebour - Illustrator. Who's your favourite cycling illustrator/Cartoonist?

I am a huge fan of Daniel Rebour's amazing draftsmanship. Its a shame there is not a decent coffee table book currently available of his work... :( There is this one; https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rebour-Rob-Van-Plas/dp/1892495813 ..but it is out of print, expensive, and reviewers note the paper...

    Vitus 992 project

Nice build - the 992 frame is 'high tech' enough that it really suits deeper wheels and more streamlined/out there component choices. You got the same pedals as me! What are the bottle cages? I like their shape, good yellow coordination too. ...And you found a red anodised 25.4mm seatpost-...

Route planning in addition to Google.

RidewithGPS is excellent, I rate their route builder over Strava for ease of use. Even the phone app works well for making long routes. The heat map feature on Strava is good for seeing where others like to go. I find them particularly useful hiking when its less obvious where a path should be...

Cyfac “Vintage” Columbus Spirit Neo-retro build

Nice one, lovely bike for an epic ride! I have a club mate who did it this year and said the weather made it the toughest week he'd ever had on a bike. 😬

    Peugeot Ultima tribute

Welcome to the forum! Sorry for your loss, but a fitting tribute indeed. This is what Retrobike is all about for me; tinkering, restoring, painting, and bringing back bikes that need some love.👍
