I took the rear derailleur off today, then cleaned, greased and rebuilt it. Worth the effort I reckon, it looks decent. Whilst it was off I got to read the complete serial number, as expected it’s a 1982 model.

I think you’re right. I’ll know for sure when the rear derailleur is removed for cleaning, then I can move the gear cable outer to reveal the 3rd character in the serial number. I’m sure it will be a 2 👍🏼

Cheers! It does have a few marks but only a few with a bit of rust showing. It’s where the top tube and lug meet at the head tube end, one top one bottom. Otherwise pretty clean. I keep checking out a Corsa 14 on eBay, it’s in Wales for collection only. It’s just as well as I’m out of space 🤣
