Same here. No TV license just YT, I kinda hate admitting it, but the bulk of what I watch is highly professional & well made content that quite frankly puts anything on terrestrial TV to shame.

It totally depends on your listening tastes tbh. I haven't bothered with spotify, it seems great if you like generic releases & are satisfied by mainstream radio like music. If you are into niche genres or even indie type labels & off the wall bands you won't find much of it on spotify. But...

That's the exact problem, the chain angle is too acute & it just doesn't feel right (or sound happy). It's getting a tapered square UN71 & an early 90's crankset. Cheers for the advice!

Typically a crankset determines it's ideal b/b length by design. Funnily enough my own Team Marin has chainline issues, cobbled together using parts I had, the octalink XT (9) setup has awful chainline but I don't have axle lengths to choose from. (well I do but it's already on the shortest)

When it comes to improvising without the correct presses etc, it can be done successfully when exercising some mechanical sympathy. Knowing when to stop or when not to use full-force.

No mention of headset spanners? You can't adjust them without atleast one. I love the Pedros ones I bought last year, I had a 1 1/4" headset to play with & the 1" on the Fire Mountain kept coming loose, so picked up the 3 sizes.

I just bought a really good cond set of Shimano SG rings for £22, used but good condition. They are out there still.

Exage M320 are a great crankset, I have a set on one of my bikes. Underrated, cheap & decent quality. Exage ES & LT were the same, just polished or painted finish.

These aren't hard to find, I'm sure there were about 3 on ebay during the summer.

I don't think the seller wishes to box up the bike or wait around for a collection. I guess I am hoping to find a middle-man that I can compensate monetarily for assisting the transit of the bike.

My go to website for research & price verification is SJScycles. I used to work there & I know that they tend to have most things you could want, they are quite anti-latest trends so usually just sell good quality kit avoid the cheap tat.

Could remove a tyre & actually measure instead of assuming. More or less any tyre width (26") will fit on those rims.
