I've owned these forks before... you can ditch the elastomer/bushing setup and do not neccesarily have to go the coil spring route on them... there is an air sprung, oil dampened shock you can use which fits perfectly... the Risse Genesis Damper...

Bought 2 USE Sub forks from Alex... nice guy, very helpful, packaged the forks well and dispatched them very quickly... would definitely buy from him again!
