    Re: I have a 28 on me Raleigh Banana. If it is 32 equivalence then it’s good. I live in a hilly area and been out today on it and it does climb well considering the age.

    Re: I’ve not seen a freewheel like it before but counts up as 14/16?! But the larger gear as big spaces in between the teeth. The rear mech works great but needs a clean. Any info on the freewheel would be great

    Re: The wheels are steel and thought as much. May use a G clamp and take it easy. It’s only small but needs doing. Here is a pic in its current state. Very nearly done believe to be 1960s mid to late? Has the funny number on B.B. but no number on dropout

    Re: The range is pretty good and has a get out gear. Going to do some steep climbs and see how I get on. May end up fitting a double on the front.

    Re: Another, it’s not the lightest but I enjoy riding it. Gone through a winter on it and made sure everything was serviced, cleaned and fettled on an OCD level.
