Well my Raleigh Banana made it through London to Brighton without any failures. I have managed to dimple the headset cup though ( before L to B) now it’s got a little worse. What size is the headset and any recommendations. Its rideable but annoying Cheers

Re: I got it with no blue on it. There was some evidence of blue bu it’s now gone in The polishing. Went for abrooks B15 saddle and black bar tape with new decals. Going to change the red Carlton for gold and black though

Had this for a while. Finishing a light restoration on it. Not much needed doing. What do you think?

Re: I’ve seen this on a google search, the frame is exactly the same as mine. Even down to the single chain wheel! I’m going with a Carlton Cobra. Couldn’t be anything else could it? I’m still going to keep it Chrome but with new decals. Do you have any close ups of the decals? Cheers

Re: I thought it might be a Cobra but there is only one brazed guide for the single cable. Not sure if it was ever a 10 speed? Anyhow the plan is to use this on next years Eroica Britannia so as long as it’s pre 87, which I think it is, it should qualify

Re: Numbers found on B.B. are as follows Front of B.B. 2563805 X2108 Under the B.B. SK139RS It’s all chrome as pictured but has evidence of being part blue? The wheels are matching Dunlop lights.
