Re: The Road frame has normal rear stays in a triangular shape whereas the MTB is raised stays at the back and the rest of the measurements differ ie wheel size etc 950 for a road bike if immaculate and original with decent components isn’t necessarily bad though.

Re: Kirk Frame Numbers Good idea. Mine are all MTB’s. The first and I think oldest based on the cable runners on the bike (enclosed rather than open) and it’s factory red ( so an earlier version is C200590 - maybe late 80’s? I then have a grey frame which has a Dawes sticker so I believe early...

Looking for a Kirk Precision Road Bike. Frame only or complete bike. Not museum standard but reasonable enough and fairly priced. Say 100 - 400 depending on if a frame only or complete but will consider. Clean and not fractured or cracked. Not interested in MTB.
