After seeing bike tyre belts etc thought I would reuse my old kona seat collar.
This was off a '97 Kilauea but the threads stripped. Did not want to throw it out so polished it up and now my key ring.
Edit: seem to have lost the all important photo that was up
Cheers Rob, from a distance it does! The Score alike decals and colour scheme help. Close up the paint on the frame is bubbling, chipped as are the decals. Forks are good nick mind. A lot of fun to ride too
Re:New forks and pics
Finally between fixing the avid arch rivals, getting some free time and avoiding the rain I got out for a ride with the new fork on.
It now rides much more like a top line xc bke. The ECC allows complete lock out with no bob and travel reduction. Set a string of strava...
Hi Paul,
Sorry for delay, mine are an earlier version than yours hence the screw rather than hex head.
How much for the whole brake? Presume it works ok. Happy with just the spring but might just be worth putting a new one on.

Re: Kona Pahoehoe 2000 update
Been enjoying the Pahoehoe when I can, not very often mind but had the odd ride where it really does perform well. Been setting some respectful strava times and passing plenty of modern bikes along the way.
But I wanted a lighter fork and something that was not...
Have some avid arch rival 40s and the screw that adjusts tension has stripped the thread. Does anyone have a spare brake arm or the housing and spring please? Its the right hand side looking down at the fork.
Older avid SD series will fit too.
Thanks

Thanks kes. I checked the windwave website and its a m3 6mm with hex head. Should be no problem to pick up from hardware or fastener supplier. Stainless steel will be ideal.
I have to say windwave website is really useful for part numbers and info. Also rang them up to check if other...
I have just picked up some 2004 Marzocchi Marathon SL's.
Sadly the ECC adjuster was missing along with the screw
So far I have secured an adjuster lever via singletrack but need the screw that secures it in place but I wondered does anyone on here have the above they dont need anymore?
Most...
Thanks shedobits that's good advice. As usual now on the back burner after i got some new Marzocchi marathons needing work and cash.
I may go silver again as with the new black bolts it all looks good
Re:
Think a photo is needed, be good to see how it looks with modern kit. I saw one a couple of weeks ago on the back of a car no doubt headed for glentress. Jon Whyte knew what he was doing with suspension design for sure
