    Sweet wings crank bolt?

I am trying to piece together a pair of sweet wings cranks that are missing some things. Currently missing the BB cup with the long spacer attached and the crank bolt. Have tons of hardware here but nothing will even thread in. It's possible the threads are damaged, but does anyone know the...

    Marzocchi x fly fork

The crown and both legs probably have castings dates, usually inside the dropouts and under the crown. Not always the model year, sometimes the year before as it's when the parts were cast, not sold as a finished fork.

Mysterious Raceface ISIS Crank - anyone know??

From what I can remember you could order all sorts of variations when they came out with the newer version. Square taper, ISIS, 4 bolt, 5 bolt and at least a couple colors. I've had two sets of the 5 bolt version, one square taper and the other ISIS. One was 5x94mm bcd, I think the other was...

    Identifying Mavic Crossmax XLs

I always remember the product sticker being in the rim bed, at least with the road stuff.

    Rohloff S-L-T-99 Chains

As they were meant to be peened with the Rohloff chain tool they did not come with a link or pin. Just one main pin half protruding out of the package. It's probably easiest to just splice in a few links from another chain. Like I said I have some spare short sections somewhere, but I'm in...

    Rohloff S-L-T-99 Chains

I bought one in the early 2000's and used it on a half dozen bikes. It never really measured much stretch even after all that. Eventually got shortened a bunch to use on various single speed things. I probably still have some barely usable short section of it left somewhere. One of the few...

Things which were made of cheese. The nightmare recalled.

Not even fully vintage, but a pair of first gen White industries ENO cranks and ring. The things must have missed some heat treatment step or something, like room temperature butter. The ring lasted one ride, looked fully shark toothed and trashed. Cranks could easily be pushed too far onto...

    Cunningdale Plan B

This is the later/production style like the one I have.

    Cunningdale Plan B

That might be the stem off a Voodoo Nakisi, that was the dirt drop mountain bike they had around ten years ago. They had a couple other models with similar setups, and sold a stem separately as well. I have one of the after market stems, it's slightly different in style/construction. Still...

    Upgrading VAR Headset press tool! DR-03400 & DR-03500 DR-03520

Intersting, I had wanted to do something similar. I had seen listed for sale an entire stepped adapter assembly that included bearings. I keep hesitating because it's $85 US and not 100% sure it fits.

    New tool

I keep hoping someone will 3D print the little dust cap rings on LX & XT canti brakes. Had another one crack and pop off just from leaning a bike against another.

    144 link 9 Speed Chain - Supplier?

Box components have a 9spd chain with 144 links. Also E-bike rated I think, if that matters.

Shimano FC-MC12 cranks from my 95 Hahanna - I was gonna put em up for sale before finding out about Shimano's recall of them in 1997?

Is the US they still are I think. It's actually a crank, front derailleur and BB if I recall. The newer cranks being different enough they need all that to work. I remember reading the wait time was insane like most bike stuff right now though.

So what’s happened to all the 27.2 dropper posts with a lever?

Tranz-x makes one, the jump seat model. Although I think the 27.2 version has way less drop.

    Kona Roadhouse

I've never seen a clear coated/raw steel frame that didn't at least get rust spiders, it just happens.

    Marzocchi Bomber (updated with photos)

I've also had a couple years spread on the casting marks. I don't think they were all that careful keeping track.

    1999 Santa Cruz Super 8: rescue job! - Finished..!…?

Always regretted not getting a more ridiculous paint job on the Bullit. Back then you could order pretty much any weird combination of main frame and swingarm. With three different types of finish, one stage powder, shiny/metallic two stage and anodized.

Retro Marzocchi forks on Chain Reaction

So I received one of the green Z-4 forks, not super impressed so far. Looks very rough, big blobs of paint drips in a few places. Castings all say '00, so certainly old stock, or built from old parts. Also pretty sure one side of the fork has zero oil in it...

    1999 Santa Cruz Super 8: rescue job! - Finished..!…?

My early Bullit had a similar mount, you were supposed to be able to slide it back and forth to adjust. Apparently nobody actually tested that as it would just slam back to the slacker position the first time you went over a bump. They replaced them with mounts that didn't have the slot at...

    Halson Inversion Forks

I think I still have a pair of NOS boots for these. They are clear though, not black.
