Managed to have great day today, titivating with the 1992 Raleigh Apex I bought late last year. I thought it would be the ideal oppertunity to also use some Muc Off that has been sat all winter. A lovely mild day, which was an absolute bonus, and a head clearer too. I always knew this would...

Got my Saturday planned out now! The fresh tyres, grips, chain and a few other small upgrades have arrived for the Apex, so I will be busy getting those swapped over after a good deep clean of the bike. I will probably take it for a short run for some pics too when its done.

I gave the 1992 Summit a quick mock up with the 1993 Rock Shox I have managed to get, on Saturday. Just awaiting some other parts arriving this week, and I can get it as a rolling chassis.

Seem as the 1992 Raleigh Summit isn't going to be standard, due to the 1993 Rock Shox I have coming, I have decided to go for a period, modified spec on it. Why not, seem as the rest of the Off Road Series bikes I have are near standard. These are also on there way now!

Well, this week gets better! Ive managed to sort a set of early Rockshox out for the Summit now! I seem to think that they fitted these to the 1993 model, over the 1992, but I'd love to be proved wrong!

Its not too bad given its age to be fair. Just on the lookout for some forks now!
