Which Freewheel will Fit Wolber S/champion 58 - Campag hub

Re: When I was looking at the hub last night (admittedly with a beer) it had some numbers and lettering on and I'm sure it said 'England' on it too but will double check tonight.

Which Freewheel will Fit Wolber S/champion 58 - Campag hub

Hi All, My other half has a Carlton Courette that I am making roadworthy again after a bit of abuse! I had to replace the rear wheel which was a Weinmann (I think!) with malliard hub and managed to acquire a pair of Wolber 58 Super Champion wheels with a campag record hub. I need to replace the...

Replacement Tubular Tyres for 27x1 1/4 wheels

Re: Thanks for the info and the advice :) The next question is: can anyone recommend a set of decent tubs? They will be used for commuting and some longer rides so something half decent but not top of the range would be ideal

Replacement Tubular Tyres for 27x1 1/4 wheels

Re: Sorry, I've v little experience with tubs. Are you saying that any tub being 700c should fit that rim?

Replacement Tubular Tyres for 27x1 1/4 wheels

Hi, Apologies if this question has been asked a multitude of times but I'm struggling to find the answer. I recently acquired a set of 27x1 1/4 Wolber Super Champion rims with Campag Record hubs that are fitted with tubular tyres that will eventually go on my other half's Carlton Courette...

    Raleigh Clubman Lady 531

Hi All, I picked up a Raleigh Clubman Lady bike from a local 'antique' shop today for my other half to use as a commuter next summer. I don't know anything about these bikes so any info would be much appreciated. Looking on the web most versions seem to have drop handlebars rather than...

Replacement Rear Derailleur for Raleigh 531

Thanks a lot - so something like a Shimano RD-TX800 Tourney would do the job?

Replacement Rear Derailleur for Raleigh 531

Hi All, I've a Raleigh 531 Enid frame with a triple ring and a 7 speed cassette. The derailleur is a Shimano RSX which has completely seized and given up the ghost. Please can anyone tell me what rear derailleur I can use to replace it? It doesn't have to be original - I need to get the bike...

    Harry Hall Query

Re: Thanks for all your expert replies. I was wondering if I had had been sold a kipper when I couldn't see a frame number but recalling from when I was a kid with a HH (why did I sell it?) the bike is nice and light. Unfortunately it is too small for me so is in the loft and will probably sell...

Hi All, I've recently picked up this Harry Hall bike but I can't see a frame number or anything on the frame to help identify it (ignore the skew whiff saddle!). Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

    Coventry-Eagle Info

Hi All, I am new to this vintage bike scene and having just bought a Raleigh 531 competition bike (waiting to pick it up) I am eyeing up an old Coventry Eagle but know next to nothing apart from the fact that a metal (?) badge indicates an older, higher quality, frame and the foil badge a newer...
