Some Fat Chance Postcards I just found

Looking through the barn for a tool I found in our life in boxes, these Fat City promo postcards. I remember standing in the local bike shop to the factory in 1995 wondering how many of the NOS framesets being sold off as 'older designs' to make way for new FSRs coming out I could cram in my...

A Story I made on my Moots

Not a retro one (although there have been), but here are some words I wrote for a British magazine about building my dream road bike and some lovely photographs my dear friend Ian made of me (ahem), modelling on it! Thanks for looking.

A Story and photographs I made on riding Arizona with Moots

Thought this might be of some interest to a few. Another barmy road trip I made with a bike (someone else's) and a camera (mine) from Arizona to Colorado to California and back home. Riding in genuine cowboy country. Crikey. Story here: http://www.augustusfarmer.com/to-tucson/ Thanks for...

A Feature and Photographs I made on AX Lightness

Here are a few photographs I made and a link to the feature I wrote for an American magazine on the German uber lightweight masters, AX Lightness during a barmy 5 days, 5 bike factories road trip. A 450g frame and fork that i assumed would likely snap at the sight of the first speedhump...

Inside Tune Components in Germany - Photographs/ Feature

Re: Re: Haha. They were properly hand made processes too. That always impresses me. I mean obvs they were machined etc but humans did every process and then rode the stuff home at closing time. Impressive. As were AX Lightness and Lightweight.

Inside Tune Components in Germany - Photographs/ Feature

I know I previously uploaded a few photographs of my barmy road trip from Tune Components in the Black forest to AX Lightness in Nuremberg, but I've uploaded the story that I wrote on the German anodised component masters for an American magazine, to my website, so here's a handful more and a...

I'm just in the ongoing mission of redesigning my website while I can't work, well, haven't worked for a year so really ought to have done it by now!, anyway, here's a few photographs from France's oldest crit race, still going strong every year near us in the south west. Behind the scenes at the Giro d'Italia with Campagnolo

Here are a few photographs I made behind the scenes at the 2016 Giro for Campagnolo. As usual, I am sorry it's not a retro race. But old as I am, I'm not that old to have worked them. A lovely little adventure across the north of Italy with the Campag equipped teams, Movistar, Lotto Soudal...
