Worst ones are when you drop a tool onto the frame and chip the paint or worse that way. Not that I've ever done that...

Lovely. My Vit T takes a 27.0 post by the way but they did have a few versions of this frame.

I saved up and bought some BITD. Took about a week to render them useless with all the snakebites I put in them. Useless.

They do remove because BITD Pace sold the legs separately so you could swap between suspension and rigid on the same crown.

You'll be fine with a shimano cassette on that yep. Not sure about the plastic ring though - is it just a dust seal? I'd be tempted just to run it as is for now. For the chainrings, the peg on the outer ring goes behind the crank arm to stop the chain from getting jammed between crank and...

Yep outer which is the 'lockring' designed to stop the BB cups from unthreading.

No problem, I'll keep my eye out for one. NOS always harder to find.

They’re 2.35 tyres, which was pretty chunky for 1992 I'm nitpicking and it's personal preference, maybe I should have said more aggressive rather than chunkier but as I said I'm nit picking and the build as is is awesome.
