    Mk2 Big Un - 20mm axle help!

    Ah that works. I thought you were struggling with the QR version. My 20mm end caps come off fairly easily. Also, nice bombers on the floor. The Big 'Un will go nicely with those.

    Diamondback Axis colour mystery

    This is the earliest Axis on my list. Frame number is 1993, September - The first digit is the year, digits 2 and 3 are the month. I'm fairly sure it is a 1994 model bike. Certainly looks a lot like mine.

    On this serial number scheme (mainly found on Diamondbacks) the second and third digit shows the month. Your bike is '05' indicating May.

    I haven't got anything on my list with a similar range serial number. But I only have one other O2 Evo listed and that starts with an 'IT' frame number.
