That looks like the drawing indeed. I have an RTS with the rocker, so I'm not sure how well this will work.

i think the bake cable goes over the roller to the right cantilever brake (sharp bend) and the small wire goes from the left cantilever under the roller to be clamped with the "B" thingy. Later RTS models have a rocker assembly there which makes it way easier. Or get some V brakes :) It will...

Also check if you don't have coil binding. To me it looks like the coil is compressed too much and it will bind (individual coils touching each other) as the shock compresses.

The zaskar was inspiration for my forum name :) I love them. I need to get one myself. Been 'collecting' Rocky Mountains lately, maybe venture back to my roots again would be a good idea. I started MTB on an old Raleigh, but soon promoted to a '93 Zaskar.

I used to have a Votec dual crown fork in my Zaskar. I cut out the blue part of the decals to match my yellow Magura rim brakes. Would look great with a yellow Judy as well.
