    91 Zaskar build

Suntour stuff is hard to find in the USA and the flip flop stem is creaky and flexy. XT and Kore would be a robust direction.

    Sup’s Pile of Bike Projects

The Iron Horse and Orbea have moved on to new homes. I regret selling the Orbea so it’s been replaced with a Yeti.

Bottom of the barrel narrow wide chain rings

These Deckas rings have about 300 miles each of urban riding with no issue. Can’t say what crunchy shifts or mudding will do as I go easy on my gears.

    Marin knowledge sought...

Not collectible or valuable, but it is a simple and rugged frame. Afterburner dropouts are indicative of their better steel frames. It will ride exceptionally well, compliant and efficient. A perfect candidate for a retro-mod. Add some modern-ish components and it will be more reliable than...

    Ads Popping Up

It beats the ads being hidden amidst thread posts as though they are legit responses. Those really kill it for me. If a sporadic pop-up is needed to keep the forum from going bankrupt, I’m willing to tolerate it.

1992 GT Zaskar frame only on eBay

Snapped??? ipad pictures with these old eyeballs is horribly misleading….value reassessed to $10. Not a penny more.

1992 GT Zaskar frame only on eBay

It’s in decent condition and has a removable hanger with U-brake. Nice, but I’d guess value would be about 1/2 the asking price. If the seller is not willing negotiate, there are much better frames in the “for sale” section of this forum.
