I could see this going to someone who wants to get their teeth into a full resto. Not cheap but it does have a fair bit going for it - the fact that there’s no cracks to the frame is a big plus. Price wise it’s hard to say, the market will decide I guess, he’s had it from new so you know it...

I was pretty eager to get cracking on this and put in a few hours yesterday evening/night. It needed the usual cables/chain/tyres etc but also had to replace the canti’s as despite the metal parts being in really good condition the plastic spring covers were all shot so they wouldn’t work...

Saw this chucked on the top of a skip on my way to work this morning, only around 200 yards away from my home. The owners were happy to let me take it and give it a new lease of life. A quick strip, clean and refresh should have this back on the road in no time. :)

Hi, ok - that sounds like an interesting setup you’re running. These are early 90’s 3x7 shifters and it sounds like you will be running disc brakes. Unusual but if you’re looking for 3x7 shifter pods then there’s no real reason why these won’t work for you. They aren’t like the old gs style...

Agreed, for sale by a local charity. Quite possibly donated by the original owner thinking it’s worth a small fortune - sadly in todays market more like £50-£100 in that condition.
