must have been a few variations of the Sebring model then. Mine was 10 speed with an SR alloy chainset and brakes were Tourney centrepulls. Bought in 1979

I had a Sebring as a teenager too. Metallic blue. SR bars, stem and chainset. Shimano Tourney brakes and gears

I'm ok with stems. Mine is brake levers on drop bars. No matter how much I faff, they are never level. If I use a spirit level, then it doesn't look or feel right, so I override the spirit level and back to square one
