    1992 Breezer Lightning XTR

Lovely. The right size and I have the original forks. Can’t justify or afford another Breezer though, damn.

The nicest Raleigh Avanti frameset ever?

Very tasteful. The colour is similar to an 80s Raleigh Record Ace @Guinessisgoodforyou @grantoury

    Sold Blue Tech Lite levers

Just to add to the chronology, there were a couple of versions of the 3 position ones as well. The last ones were more extensively machined in the lever body.

Yeah they’re the three position versions I was referring to

Didn’t the V brake ones have 3 pivot positions? I thought this was the canti version… Happy to be corrected though!

Cheers Tim, but I’m all Campag’d out now mate!

For Sale control tech complete canti brakes set

94/95 sounds about right. There were a few slightly different versions; fully machined, forged + machined hanger, and all forged. These are the latter ones. I think they were the last version (?)

    Raleigh Dynatech Voyager with Campag

Decent upgrade with the brake levers and saddle, but that’s not included apparently. Shame as it suits it well I reckon.

    Raleigh Dynatech Voyager with Campag

    I think so, definitely

    Raleigh Dynatech Voyager with Campag

Like so many Voyagers, it’s had the terrible Bullet shifters replaced with thumbies, possibly by the original dealer. Way overpriced IMO

    Monark Silver King

The first one has that stylistic flare on the casting making the forks maybe seem bent back, but I think it’s fine

Ha ha. I guess from their early days they were very conscious of Campag being seen as the Gold Standard - but they knew they could do better. It always seemed odd to me that Campag agreed to make their quick releases considering they were direct competitors at the time. Their large flange hubs...

I’ve a vase full of skewers as a kind of display and my favourites are the Zeros, Middleburns and Royce! I’m not the least bit patriotic - but we did make some cool stuff! edit: Campag made the Royce 😄

The skewers are very nice indeed. When you see them alongside the stem it’s clear that Zero had a really distinctive style going on. Very classy design! Declan is a member on here 😀

Some info on the stem. I was very lucky to acquire it a few years ago. It’s a fine paperweight. https://velocipede.co.uk/2019/06/03/zero-components-prototype-hermann-the-stem/

Lovely stuff. That stem never made it past the prototype though, sadly.
