Thanks, have bought some pre-cut 20mm circles of 3M double-sided stuff, I think it will do the trick as it does stick glass. Cheapo Psycho Psycles cantilever straddles here we come!

Anyone know which is 'the' type to use? My Orange P7 badge seemed to be 'glued' on but I assume it was some sort of double-sided tape. A 3M one of a certain type? It's for a retro-inspired (the originals are $$$!) cycle-related project....attaching glass to aluminium.....if it ends up looking...

Yorvik Engineering Services in York did some stuff for me via post - they were recommended on here on a thread. Masked some cranks expertly - so they know what they were doing - cranks and 2 pedal cages was £30 which I was happy with. York is 'North' for me in Cambridge!
