    Pace RC100 hose guides???

There's also this one at Shapeways: https://www.shapeways.com/product/DV6C5USXL/cannondale-cable-guide BUT...I've been working on my own model of the Pace guides over the last few weeks for a client who is restoring two RC100s  I have some real, but damaged, ones from the frames to work...

Stripped bottom bracket threads -solutions please

1: Yes, usually something such as Loctite 638 Retainer, or an epoxy resin. I have even seen them silver soldered in. 2: The chamfer holds the bottom bracket unit straight and central on the BB shell. The 45° interface is better able to manage the axial, radial and precessional forces from...

Stripped bottom bracket threads -solutions please

Julian, I don't know of any inserts to give an Italian thread. If you have a damaged BSA thread and want an Italian thread, then just find a framebuilder with some Italian taps. The BSA thread repair above relies on the fact that Italian thread is slightly larger diameter than the BSA, so once...

    Sorted 130mm disc hub, anyone?

Thanks, Rich. It's a disc brake conversion on a roadie handcycle, but I can't just widen the fork, since it's 6061 aluminium. All the best,

    Sorted 130mm disc hub, anyone?

I'm looking for a rare beast for a project...🤔 Does anyone have a 130mm spacing 6-bolt or splined disc brake hub, Shimano/SRAM cassette body? Probably from that brief 18 months around 2006-7, when discs were oozing into cyclocross. Spoke numbers not important at this stage, since I don't have...

    Blasting frames

Yes, also look at glass bead (not crushed glass), soda or vapour blasting. Powdercoat just needs a clean surface to adhere. A rough surface does help adhesion, but isn't 100% necessary. All the best,

Reynolds Frame Builder in the UK - 1999 Kona Explosif Project

Happy to help...I'm in Leek, N. Staffordshire :) As others have said, I do a lot of repairs and reproductions for retro riders/collectors in both steel and aluminium (and occasional Ti). It's not my main business, so other properly paid work often gets in the way, but I try to keep you lot...

Sold Bob Jackson 1" straight leg fork

sure, I can put a bend in, but there would be way too much fork rake. You need a fork with zero rake (not just straight bladed) then bend in the rake. Might be able to just make you a repro set of forks instead. Those forged unicrown fork crowns are still available, and Columbus still make...

I have some options in aluminium 12mm washers.🤔 They aren't the same thickness as the original Bullseye ones (I never managed to find anything exact match), but can be stacked to make up to within 0.5mm of the original heights. As follows: 13 x 19.5 x 2.0 stainless steel 12.4 x 17.8 x 1.5...
