Photo upload testing. Bear with me as I dick around with uploading photos from iPhone and computer now the file size has increased. I changed the name of the post, sorry for any confusion.

It looks pretty much identical to mine which I believe is a (late) 1993. I have a catalogue from 1993 that is different to the one posted on RB which I suspect is from early 1993 (or is a Europe only catalogue?). This alternate (North America only?) catalogue shows models from the Cinder Cone...

Kona Kyber was double butted chromoly and had glow in the dark decals as mentioned in the quote taken from FB above. I used to have one of these and can confirm they were used as Whistler/Blackcomb rental bikes, mine was an ex rental which still had the name of the bike shop on it. I'm not sure...

I'm looking for someone who has a copy of Mountain Bike Action April 1987! I have a poor copy of a review from that magazine and would love an original or better (colour?) copy if there's one out there. Anybody have one or can point me on the right direction? Cheers.

Looks like a Kuwahara Aries, I have the same bike, 1984/5 I think. Mine is an 84 and very similar to this one. Don't be put off by the size if you think it's a bit big. I'm 5ft 3 in my ski boots and still cruise my 20" with the seat down low. The top tubes on some of those early mtb's can be...

That's a beauty. Probably my favourite Kona colour, along with the '97 Rasta flames. Oh, and the pre '90 splatters :-)
