    1984 Rocky Mountain Avalanche

Looks great Roy. What fork have put on it? You didn't locate the original one did you? PS. Is that a fancy new fence?

    1988 Custom Explosif

Drive side seat tube cluster has an ugly looking weld job done on it but hopefully it will clean up a bit. Needs a P2 of course. Thinking black seat post/stem/fork will look ok as finding a matching yellow fork with smoke paint finish might be tricky 🙄

    1988 Custom Explosif

Recent purchase. Looks like a 1988 Kona Explosif with custom paint by The Art Department, Brodie’s in-house painter at the time (Art Tyler). I’ve never seen a smoke paint job on a Kona before. It’s well used and the decals have seen better days but it will be a fun restoration.

Hi Mark, thanks for posting the latest photo of the bike. It looks amazing. Did you manage to get original decals as you mentioned in an earlier post? If so I am very interested to know where from and if you could pass on the contact details. Cheers.

    show us your Rocky Mountains!

Hi Roy! Not far at all, about a 5 min pedal, just passed the sports centre. I spent a good half hour going back and forward along the river to see where I think the pic was taken. The river bank on the other side was the best way to gauge the location as the background mountains seemed to have...

    show us your Rocky Mountains!

I went looking for the location of this image that was featured in the RM catalogue in 1989 (in b/w) and as a (colour) thumbnail in the 1991 catalogue. Lots of tree growth in the last 30+ years and I didn’t have the ability to super impose Wedge Mountain in the photo, as I suspect they did bitd...

1990 Rocky Mountain Blizzard - REBUILD

Great pictures. Looking forward to seeing this progress. Regarding the 3 digit serial#, I have read that these were BC made but this comes with a massive DISCLAIMER!, as this info is not substantiated as far as I can see. If there's anyone out there with more knowledge I'd love to know as mine...

1990 Rocky Mountain Blizzard - REBUILD

Nice project, I have a small 1990 bought in Vancouver a couple years ago. Staying tuned for updates! Interested to know the serial number, is it a 3 digit one? Is that a WORCA sticker on the seat tube?

    1995 Waterford 1400

Fully lugged 1995 Waterford 1400. My research suggests Waterford Precision Cycles began making frames under their own name around 1993. The 1400 series off road/MTB frames were originally lugged from Reynolds 753 switching to TIG welded 2400 frames with the introduction of 853 in 1996. More info...
