    ROS9 Purple Reign

Nothing retro or classic about this build, just my new daily ride built to be as lightweight as possible without sacrificing reliability, or spending a fortune. Frame is a medium ROS in purple. 6lbs of oversized 4130. The idea behind the geometry is to have a slack hta, short cs, durable all...

Re: A few additional pictures and information. http://www.classicrendezvous.com/France ... cycles.htm From what I gather (from many hours of searching the web) Stella made a broad range of bikes from the mundane to the nicely equipped SX-76. Production was mid-sized, 25,000 bikes a year in...

    Stella SX-76

Another recent pickup, early 70's Columbus tubed, Campy equipped Stella. This will be a fun and relatively quick project, one I think is worthwhile on such a cool and mostly original top end bike from the early 70s. More pics and information will be posted as I proceed.

Re: any additional guidance or information before I take the plunge? The rollers are "Rolo" and I think Italian, no real additional information on the frame. Price is fantastic but it's a 3 hour drive one way. Thanks!

Re: Bike and rollers are a package deal, no additional pics or information unfortunately. Though he did say the wheels are Araya and the front hub is cracked at the flange, not a deal breaker for me. Currently trying to work out a deal. This bike could be a excellent resto project.

Re: More pics! Lugwork looks a little chunky but decent. Nice TA chain ring and the stem is awesome, once flipped and dropped down some. If I manage to get the bike it will be a minor miracle, but i'm trying.

This combo deal popped up near me, i'm very interested and curious if anybody could give me an idea on the general date of manufacturer based on the low resolution pictures. Cranks look cottered, steep seat tube angle, flat fork crown, Titan stem?. That's all I have to go on at the moment. Thanks!
