Re: Really nice frame in great shape. My guess is 2nd generation with the 1 1/4" hs and straight rear sub-frame support tube. Seeing these Boulders always urges me to move my Gazelle back up the build cache.

Re: Re: Beautiful and very stylish. The 2nd bike shows the pre-70's location of the serial number, on the front of the seat tube lug. I think in 1970 they split the number between drive and non-drive side of the lug, like mine. Also i've only been able to find one early 1970's Bianchi...

Brakes are in fantastic shape! Levers are especially nice.... One more strange addition, it has bosses for 2 water bottles (down and seat tubes). I'm guessing these could have been added as well. My biggest quandry is general age and model, so when I locate decals I will at least be close to...

Re: Looking (and potentially purchasing) this bike today. From what I gather from hours of research the integrated headset design was generally from the 60's, but the bb shell is far later. The winged "C" TM's and used in the late 70's? I haven't been able to find a late 70's Bianchi with this...

Anybody know if this sweet looking bike is a Bianchi, late 60's maybe? Obvious repaint and mixed up build. Thanks!

No this bike wasn't designed for Andre the Giant, it's a 24" wheeled oddity from the late 70's? Seller claims the tt length is 20", or 51cm, so it's not nearly as large as it appears at first glance, in fact it's quite a bit smaller. Construction seems interesting with fillet brazing, diagonal...
